ABOUT

Meet The CEO

Keni Church-Hines is the Founder and CEO of Church Boi Empowerment Company, a nonprofit created to strengthen youth and families through life-skill development, resilience building, and community support.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, Keni brings professional expertise and a deep commitment to helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.

Church Boi Empowerment Company was created from Keni’s belief that many mental health struggles can be reduced when youth have early access to practical tools—such as emotional regulation, communication skills, healthy decision-making, self-worth, and real support systems.

Her work focuses on reaching communities with prevention-based programming that supports long-term stability, improved outcomes, and healthier futures.

With donor support, the organization expands access to structured programs, mentorship, and skill-building experiences that empower young people to thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially.

Our Mission

To close generational, emotional, and developmental gaps by teaching youth and adults the life skills, emotional regulation tools, and coping strategies they never received at home, in school, or in their communities.
We intentionally identify and address gaps across Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs so participants gain the stability required to learn, practice, and sustain skills that support lifelong success, safety, belonging, and confidence.

Our Vision

A strong, connected community where every young person feels valued, supported, and equipped for long-term success.

About Our Organization

Church Boi Empowerment Company has been serving the community since 2024, grounded in lived experience and strengthened by clinical insight. We officially became a nonprofit in January 2025 with a clear purpose: to close the skill and support gaps that too often impact families, schools, and underserved communities. Our programs are built to empower youth and caregivers with practical tools for emotional wellness, healthy decision-making, communication, and long-term stability. With donor and community support, we are expanding our reach to serve youth, adults, caregivers, schools, and partners through culturally responsive, community-centered services that create meaningful and lasting change.
